What is Dukani Soko?
A marketplace of Tanzanian shops. Each product is sold by a real shop that runs its sales and stock on Dukani Mauzo, so prices and stock are the shop’s own.
How do I place an order?
Add products to your cart (from one shop or several), go to checkout and sign in with your phone number: we text you a 6-digit code, no password. Choose delivery or pickup and place the order. Each shop then confirms and calls you.
How do I pay?
When it arrives: cash or mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money). Nothing is paid on the website.
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
Each shop agrees it with you by phone after you order, before anything is sent. Pickup from the shop is free. See Delivery and pickup.
Can I return an item?
Check it when it arrives and pay only if it is right. After that, returns are arranged with the shop that sold it. See Returns.
Why are there several orders for one checkout?
Products from different shops become one order per shop, because each shop prepares and delivers its own.
